Galvanized Steel Strip Coils are carbon steel strips coated with a protective layer of zinc through a hot-dipping process, providing excellent corrosion resistance and extended service life. Manufactured by Wuxi Sylaith Special Steel Co., Ltd in Jiangsu, China, these coils combine the strength of Q195/Q235/Q235B base materials with advanced cold rolling technology and uniform zinc coating (Z81-Z120), making them the preferred choice for construction and industrial applications.
Our Prime Galvanized Steel Coils are produced from high-quality cold-rolled steel strips, ensuring consistent mechanical properties, precise dimensional accuracy, and superior surface finish. Whether you need material for pipe manufacturing, roofing sheets, or general fabrication, this product delivers reliability and versatility.
Superior Corrosion Resistance: Z81-Z120 zinc coating protects against rust and harsh environments
Excellent Formability: Cold rolled technology enables easy bending, punching, and cutting
Consistent Quality: Manufactured under strict quality control with multiple international certifications
Hard Hardness Grade: Suitable for applications requiring higher strength and durability
Flexible MOQ: Starting from 1 tons, sample orders accepted
The versatility of Sylaith Galvanized Steel Coils makes them suitable for numerous industries and applications:
Ideal base material for manufacturing welded pipes, conduits, and tubing used in construction, water supply, and infrastructure projects.
Perfect for corrugated roofing sheets, wall panels, purlins, and building cladding systems.
Used for shipping containers, storage tanks, and industrial containers requiring corrosion protection.
Ideal for highway guardrails, security fencing, garden fences, and agricultural enclosures.
Suitable for making small tools, machine parts, electrical cabinets, and stamped components.
Can be slit and cut into sheets for various industrial and manufacturing applications.
Used for underbody parts, brackets, and structural components requiring strength and rust resistance.
Cold Rolled Galvanized Steel Coils are produced through a precise manufacturing process:
High-quality Q195/Q235/Q235B hot rolled steel strips undergo cold rolling to achieve precise thickness (0.3-2.0mm), improved surface finish, and enhanced mechanical properties. Cold rolling also increases strength and hardness (Hard grade).
The cold rolled strip is thoroughly cleaned through:
Degreasing: Removes rolling oils and contaminants
Pickling: Removes iron oxides and scale
Fluxing: Prepares the surface for optimal zinc adhesion
The cleaned strip passes through a bath of molten zinc at approximately 450°C-460°C. A metallurgical bond forms between the steel and zinc, creating a corrosion-resistant layer. The coating weight is precisely controlled to Z81-Z120 (grams per square meter).
After coating, the strip is cooled, then may undergo skin pass or tension leveling to improve flatness and surface quality.
Every coil is inspected for:
Coating thickness and uniformity
Surface quality and appearance
Mechanical properties
Dimensional accuracy (thickness, width)
The finished product is recoiled, weighed, and packaged with waterproof paper and steel strips for safe ocean transport.
A:
Q195 has lower carbon content (≤0.12%), making it softer and more formable—ideal for complex bending and light applications.
Q235 has medium carbon content (≤0.22%) for higher strength—suitable for general structural use.
Q235B is a variant of Q235 with guaranteed impact toughness at 20°C, making it suitable for colder environments and load-bearing applications.
All three are low-carbon steels with excellent weldability and formability.
A: "Z" stands for Zinc, and the number indicates the coating weight in grams per square meter (total both sides). Z81-Z120 means the coil has a zinc coating of 81-120 g/m². Higher coating weights offer better corrosion resistance. For comparison:
Z60-Z80: Standard interior applications
Z81-Z120: Exterior and moderate corrosion environments
Z180-Z275: Heavy-duty, marine, and high-corrosion environments
A: Cold rolling offers several benefits over hot rolled:
Tighter thickness tolerances (±1%)
Smoother surface finish for better coating adhesion
Improved mechanical properties (higher strength, better hardness)
More uniform thickness across the strip
Better flatness for precision applications
A: "Hard" hardness indicates the coil has been cold rolled to achieve higher strength and resistance to deformation. This is suitable for applications requiring:
Higher load-bearing capacity
Wear resistance
Structural rigidity
Reduced spring-back during forming
A: We offer fast delivery within 7 days after order confirmation for standard specifications. Custom orders may require additional time depending on quantity and processing requirements.
A: Yes, samples are available upon request. We welcome trial orders to test our quality before committing to larger volumes. MOQ for trial orders can be flexible.
A: We accept T/T (30% deposit + 70% balance before shipment) . Other terms can be negotiated for long-term partnerships.
A: Yes. With Z81-Z120 zinc coating, these coils provide excellent corrosion protection for outdoor applications like roofing, fencing, and construction. For harsh coastal or industrial environments, higher coating weights (Z180+) are recommended.
A: Absolutely! We offer customized width (700-2000mm) and length based on your requirements. For PPGI products, we also offer custom RAL colors matching your samples.
A:
GI (Galvanized Steel): Zinc-coated only, silver-gray appearance
PPGI (Pre-Painted Galvanized Steel): GI coil with an additional color coating layer, available in various RAL colors
We supply both options based on your needs.
A: We implement strict quality control throughout production:
Raw material inspection
In-process monitoring (thickness, coating weight)
Final inspection before packaging
Full traceability with Mill Test Certificate (MTC)
A: We use standard seaworthy packaging or as customers required.
A: Yes, we provide various processing services:
Welding
Punching
Cutting (slitting, cut-to-length)
Bending
Decoiling
